About this collection
Waterfowl drawn drake by drake - american wigeon, gadwall, northern shoveler, bufflehead, hooded merganser, harlequin duck, and snow goose among them. Each is captioned in script italic, Latin binomial and all.
Deep black sets the birds against dawn-dark water, which is how most people remember seeing them; warm white leans field guide. Belongs in a lake-house den, beside a home bar, or in a back office.
