About this collection
Old roses with proper names. Rosa mundi with its striped petals sits alongside madame hardy, cardinal de richelieu, gloire de dijon, tuscany superb, and old blush, and each plate carries the variety's name in script italic.
Warm white gives them the look of an 1880s nursery catalog; deep black sets the blooms glowing, especially the dark ones - cardinal de richelieu, tuscany superb. They belong in a bedroom, a dressing room, or over the tub.
For a trio, hang souvenir de la malmaison between charles de mills and boule de neige - blush, crimson, and white in a row.
- Matte poster, printed on demand
- Six sizes, 8x10 up to 24x36 inches
- Printed reproduction of an illustrated design - sold unframed
- Every plate is a real named old variety - nothing here is a generic pink rose.
