About this collection

All the regulars plus the small ones you rarely see: great horned owl, barn owl, barred owl, snowy owl, burrowing owl, elf owl, and northern saw-whet owl. The species name and Latin binomial appear in script italic on every plate.

Night birds belong on a night ground - on deep black the barn owl's pale face and the snowy owl's white body come forward - while warm white treats them like day birds. Right for a library, a nursery, or a cabin loft, and the black set leans dark academia.

The eastern screech owl and western screech owl make a natural pair; the great horned owl is the single-print pick.

  • Matte poster, printed on demand
  • Six sizes, 8x10 up to 24x36 inches
  • Printed reproduction of an illustrated design - sold unframed
  • Sixteen species spanning the great gray owl down to the sparrow-sized elf owl.
