About this collection

Each plate pairs one bird with one branch: a redstart on maple, a vireo on elm, a catbird on viburnum, a towhee on snowberry, a kingbird on sycamore, a yellowthroat on grape. Script italic captions name the bird, Latin binomial included.

On deep black the branches read as nocturnes, each bird lit against the dark; warm white keeps the set airy and morning-lit. Right for a nursery, a sewing room, or the hallway between bedrooms.

Start with mockingbird hackberry, then flank it with thrush ash and thrasher sumac for a three-print run.

  • Matte poster, printed on demand
  • Six sizes, 8x10 up to 24x36 inches
  • Printed reproduction of an illustrated design - sold unframed
  • No cardinals and no jays - this volume is for people who know their catbirds, vireos, and gnatcatchers.
