No pot, no soil, no rules — air plant grows unplanted, perched on driftwood, tucked in a shell, or simply set on a shelf, drawing what it needs through silvery leaves. Each one eventually crowns itself with a bloom in shades that look almost electric.
Because it needs no pot, it goes where plants never could: a mounted frame, a hanging globe, a desk with no window ledge. Pet-safe and small, it blooms once, then makes pups that carry the colony on — begin with a few and arrange them like ornaments.
