About this collection
Lemon tree, satsuma, grapefruit, bergamot, Seville orange, yuzu, kumquat - sixteen citrus plates running from the familiar to the obscure. A script italic caption with the Latin binomial sits beneath every fruit.
Warm white keeps the peels bright and market-fresh; deep black turns them into lanterns, especially the yellows of the lemon tree and citron. A breakfast nook, a bright kitchen, or the wall behind a bar all make sense.
Marmalade people should start with the Seville orange and add bergamot beside it.
- Matte poster, printed on demand
- Six sizes, 8x10 up to 24x36 inches
- Printed reproduction of an illustrated design - sold unframed
- Includes citrus that rarely gets illustrated - finger lime, chinotto, makrut lime, and trifoliate orange.
